Stroopwafels
Dutch stroopwafels are a traditional delicacy originating from the Netherlands. These sweet treats consist of two thin waffles with a layer of caramel syrup in the middle. They have a unique texture, with a crisp exterior and a chewy, caramel-filled center. Stroopwafels were first created in Gouda in the late 18th century and have since become popular both within and outside of the Netherlands.
